That is the whole label instruction, and a bottle of 30 capsules is exactly one month of it. The part worth reading twice is the timing: calcium carbonate is the one common calcium form whose absorption depends on stomach acid, and the label places the capsule in the fasting window.

Three separate instructions live in that sentence, and they are not equally obvious. One capsule rather than two. Eight ounces of water, which is a full glass rather than a mouthful. And a window ahead of eating rather than alongside it.
The distributor's own routine card adds two words to it: stay consistent. That is the harder instruction of the two, and it is the one a thirty-capsule bottle is designed around.
A Memodyne routine that survives a real week
Attach it to the meal, not to the clock
The instruction is anchored to eating, so the habit should be too. Before breakfast holds through a weekend, an early start and a late one; at eight does not. Thirty consecutive days is what a bottle is for and what makes it worth judging.
Keep the bottle where breakfast happens
Beside the kettle, not in a bathroom cabinet. The single commonest reason a daily supplement fails is that it lives somewhere the daily routine does not pass through.
Use the whole glass

Calcium carbonate needs stomach acid to dissolve. The 1985 absorption study measured it in fasting adults with achlorhydria at a fractional absorption of 0.042, against 0.225 in fasting adults with normal acid, and then found that the same carbonate taken with a normal breakfast absorbed normally in the same people. Low stomach acid is common with age, and the directions on this bottle place the capsule 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, which is the fasting condition.

Recker RR, N Engl J Med 1985;313(2):70-3, measured by a modified double-isotope procedure with 0.25 g of calcium as the carrier. The study's own closing observation is that achlorhydria is common in older people, so calcium carbonate may not be the ideal supplemental form.
- It is about one of the six names, not about the formula as a whole. The amino acids are not affected by it.
- It applies most to people with low stomach acid, which becomes more common with age and is also produced by long-term proton-pump inhibitor use.
- No amount of calcium is published for this capsule, so the practical size of the effect cannot be calculated from here.
- The label's instruction is still the instruction. This page prints the tension rather than resolving it, because resolving it would be medical advice.

What not to do with Memodyne
- Do not double a dose after a missed day. There is nothing to catch up on.
- Do not open the capsule into a drink. The shell is part of how the contents arrive where they are going.
- Do not stack it with a pre-workout powder without checking the labels. Several carry citrulline and arginine at gram doses, which is where this formula's ingredients come from.
- Do not judge it at a week. Nothing here is a stimulant and nothing has an acute effect at capsule amounts.
- Do not leave the bottle in a hot car. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, as the container says.
