Side Effects

Memodyne side effects and interactions, ingredient by ingredient

No trial of this capsule exists, so its side-effect profile has never been measured.

What can be said is what each named ingredient is known to do at the amounts it has been studied at, and which prescriptions act on the same lever. The four nitric-oxide names are the reason anyone on a nitrate, a PDE5 inhibitor or a blood-pressure medicine should ask before starting.

What the seller states, what each name is known for, and the interaction that matters most on this particular label.

The seller's statement

What the Memodyne seller says about safety

“Its formula contains only naturally derived ingredients, in vegetable capsules (hypromellose), without artificial stimulants and without harmful chemical additives. All ingredients are rigorously tested and no significant side effects have been reported by users.”The seller's own FAQ, read on 20 September 2026

Two useful facts are in that passage and one thing that is not a fact. The useful ones are the capsule shell — hypromellose, a plant cellulose, which answers the vegetarian question — and the absence of stimulants, which matches the artwork.

The part that is not a fact is no significant side effects have been reported by users. That describes what has come back through a seller's own support channel. It is not adverse-event monitoring, it is not a trial, and absence of reports is the weakest form of safety information there is.

The seller's own caution, in the same answer, is the more useful line: anyone pregnant, nursing, under eighteen, or on medication for blood pressure, blood thinning or vasodilation should show the label to a doctor before starting.

Ingredient by ingredient

What each Memodyne ingredient is known for

IngredientKnown at studied amountsRelevance here
NiacinFlushing from nicotinic acid, dose-dependent. HPS2-THRIVE used 2 g a day of the extended-release form and recorded serious adverse effects at that pharmaceutical doseThe upper intake level is 35 mg a day and was set on flushing. A daily capsule would sit far below the THRIVE dose
Calcium carbonateConstipation and bloating at supplemental amounts; interferes with the absorption of some antibiotics and thyroid medicineA 2023 meta-analysis of twelve trials found no association with heart attack, stroke or mortality
L-ArginineGastrointestinal upset at gram doses; lowers blood pressureRelevant to anyone already on an antihypertensive
L-Arginine AKG 2:1The same, plus the acute trials at 3 to 3.7 g found no performance effect and reported no notable harmsSame class, same caution
L-Citrulline HClWell tolerated in trials; the 8.8 g cerebrovascular trial reported no adverse eventsThe most studied of the four for tolerability
L-Citrulline MalateWell tolerated; the six-week older-adult pilot reported no adverse events at 3 g a daySame

Every entry describes the ingredient at the amount its own studies used. No amount is published for this capsule, so none of these can be scaled to it.

Honest analysis

The Memodyne interaction that matters most

Four ingredients, one lever

L-arginine, L-arginine AKG, L-citrulline HCl and L-citrulline malate all raise the supply of arginine, and arginine is the substrate for nitric oxide. Nitric oxide relaxes blood-vessel walls.

Nitrates do the same thing by donating nitric oxide directly. PDE5 inhibitors do it by preventing the downstream signal from being broken down. Several antihypertensives arrive at the same place by other routes. Stacking them is how blood pressure drops further than intended.

This is one conversation, held once, with the person who writes the prescription. Take the bottle so the label can be read. The order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 can confirm what is printed on a physical panel if the appointment needs it.

This is the reason rule-of-thumb advice is unhelpful here. The issue is not that a supplement might interact with something in general; it is that four of these six names act on one specific mechanism that three named classes of medicine also act on.

Stopping

When to stop taking Memodyne

  • Light-headedness on standing, which is what an unintended blood-pressure drop feels like.
  • A persistent headache that started with the capsule and has not settled.
  • Any rash, swelling or breathing difficulty. Stop and seek help; that is an allergic pattern rather than a side effect.
  • Constipation that starts with the bottle, which would point at the calcium.
  • Anything at all, if a prescriber has asked you to stop.

Follow the directions printed on the product label. For adults 18 and over. Talk to a doctor before use if you take medicine, and do not take more than the label says unless a clinician tells you to.

Practical

Questions worth asking a pharmacist about Memodyne

A pharmacist will answer these in three minutes, holds the full list of what you are already taking, and does not need an appointment. Take the bottle.

  • Does anything on my repeat prescription act on nitric oxide or on blood pressure? That is the question this label turns on.
  • I take a calcium supplement already — does adding an unspecified amount matter for me?
  • I take a proton-pump inhibitor. Does a capsule containing calcium carbonate taken before food make sense in my case?
  • Is there anything on my list whose absorption calcium interferes with, and if so how far apart should the two be taken?
  • If I get flushing, is that a reason to stop or a reason to shrug?

None of those five needs anybody to have heard of this brand. They are questions about six named substances, which is exactly the level at which a pharmacist can be useful.

The label

What the Memodyne container itself cautions

Supplement containers in this category carry a standard block of cautions and this one is no exception. The wording belongs to the manufacturer and is quoted rather than paraphrased.

  • A dietary supplement, not a drug, and not FDA-approved.
  • Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
  • For healthy adults of eighteen years and over only.
  • Talk to a doctor before use if you take medicine.
  • Do not take more than the label states unless a clinician says otherwise.

The line this shop would underline is the fourth one, and the reason is on this page: it is not a generic caution on this particular label, it is a specific one about a specific mechanism. Four of six names, one lever, three named classes of medicine.

Questions

Memodyne safety questions

Does Memodyne have side effects?

The seller states that no significant side effects have been reported by its users. That is a seller's statement about its own feedback rather than safety monitoring, and this page sets out what the named ingredients are known to do at the amounts they have been studied at.

Can Memodyne cause flushing?

Nicotinic acid causes flushing, and it is dose-dependent. Whether this capsule carries enough niacin to produce it, and in which form, is not published. Flushing is uncomfortable rather than harmful.

Is Memodyne safe with blood-pressure medicine?

That is a prescriber's question. Four of the six names raise nitric oxide, which relaxes blood vessels, and several common medicines act on the same end point. Take the bottle to the appointment.

Can Memodyne upset the stomach?

Amino acid salts taken on an empty stomach can, and this label directs the capsule into the fasting window. Calcium carbonate can also cause constipation at supplemental amounts.

Two months to decide, and the seller asks you to spend one of them taking it

The clock starts on the day the order is paid for, not the day the box arrives, which makes it the shorter and safer of the two readings. Against that, the seller's own terms ask for 30 days of use before a refund request — so the real decision window is the second month, and that is worth knowing before choosing a pack size. Refunds are opened by telephone with an order ID in hand; the refund policy page walks through the rest of it.
